AOAC INTERNATIONAL SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA SECTION ANNUAL MEETING & EXHIBITION

The COVID-19 pandemic has remained a challenge to our planning for more than a year now. In view of the current COVID-19 situation and with guidelines on trends and projections from the South African Department of Health (DoH) on movement, gathering and travel restrictions the Organising Committee is positive that the situation will improve in the next couple of months and has therefore decided to host the 3rd Annual Meeting as a Hybrid Event, comprising of both an in-person and a virtual congress.

The Meeting will be held at the Misty Hills Country Estate in Muldersdrift Gauteng, South Africa.

This meeting’s new flexible hybrid format will enable us to safeguard our members’ well-being and facilitate your participation wherever you are based, while at the same serving you with access to valuable online discussions within our community.

Your safety is our priority and all COVID-19 regulations and safety protocols will be observed, ensuring a safe and secure event for all our attendees. Sanitizing stations, masks, personal sanitizing wipes/spray will be freely available and the necessary social distancing regulations will be implemented throughout the event. The in-person event will currently be limited to a maximum of 75 attendees as stipulated by local regulations.  Should this change in the coming months we will communicate the update once received from the DoH.
