AOAC Members are the heart of our organization. Membership and participation in AOAC INTERNATIONAL is an opportunity for professionals to demonstrate their dedication to analytical excellence.
AOAC INTERNATIONAL offers both Individual, Organizational, and Student membership options. Retiree and Developing Nation discounts are also available.
In 2019, AOAC adopted a new membership model to boost member value and engagement, while ensuring the association’s fiscal health. The new model lowered individual membership fees, introduced new organizational membership tiers, and allowed members to choose the services, programs, and publications that benefit them most.
Join as an Organizational Member
Supporting the AOAC keeps your organization at the forefront of analytical science and builds your recognition as a leader in food safety.
Organizational Members include businesses, government agencies, and academic institutions. Organizational Memberships are held in the name of the organization and individual representative benefits are transferable.
We have three categories available, with numerous associated benefits:
1) Platinum – $5,730
2) Diamond – $2,865
3) Gold – $1,435

Join as a Individual Member
Individual members include laboratory managers, analytical chemists, microbiologists, toxicologists, forensic scientists, management executives and much more. Individual Memberships are held in the name of the individual, not the organization they work for, and are non-transferable. Learn more

Membership activation may take up to five business days depending on the application method. Members should receive their membership packet and card within 30 days.

Individual membership terms and conditions
Individual memberships are non-transferable and remain in the individual’s name for the life of membership. Member benefits, including those accessed online, are provided exclusively to the individual member whose name appears on the membership card. Please do not share your login username and password with others. If you violate any of the terms, AOAC INTERNATIONAL reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to the online service immediately without notice, in addition to any other available remedies.

Join as a Student Member
AOAC’s Student Membership program is designed to give students the opportunity to engage with AOAC INTERNATIONAL and leaders in the field to develop careers dedicated to analytical excellence. Student Memberships are held in the name of the individual, not the university they attend, and are non-transferable. Learn more

Join a Section
AOAC encompasses 18 Regional Sections worldwide, representing four continents and over 90 countries outside of the United States. Sections provide opportunities for participants to share information, build professional contacts, expand leadership skills, and gain practical management experience at a local or regional level.
